Sorta bummed.

So I had an US yesterday to make sure the LO was head down, and she was measuring small, so the tech mentioned that she would have moved my due date two weeks later.  (My EDD has moved twice) For some reason, my doc is still clinging to the idea of me having a December baby, but this is the second US that indicated I would be a Jan mom.  The first one put me at the 5th, and this one put me at the 11th. ... I know it is silly, but I am kinda bummed that I may have to wait even longer to meet this little girl.  Not sure how to get myself out of this funk.  Isn't it funny how we want them to stay in there as long as possible so they will be healthy, but when it gets closer, we just can't wait to see them?

Anywho, I know it's silly, I just needed to get it out there...

(And on a side note, my OB is currently on vacation, so I can't even talk to her about the results right now. :-/)

    If your EDD is the 5th or the 11th it doesn't really matter, baby can come anytime before or after that. EDDs are just a guess. Don't put too much weight into them.

    If it makes u feel any better, Ultrasounds r less accurate with EDD the further along you go. So they usually adjust the EDD after the first US but not after. Hopefully ur LO will be here soon! GL!

    Thanks ladies. That actually helped to hear. Sometimes those hormones just get the better of us I guess. LOL
