So I've been "walking" with my DD lately (I.E. holding her hands and walk with her in-between my legs) and I've noticed that when she 'walks' she's quite pigeon toed. My mother, who is in town, was watching DD yesterday and she mentioned it as well, I had noticed it but didn't think it was that big of a deal, I figured it was something that would correct itself when she began to properly walk....but now that someone else has mentioned it I'm beginning to get a little worried. My mother was extremely pigeon toed when she was younger and required braces to correct the issue. Is it genetic?
We have her 9-Month Wellness appointment next month so I'll be asking her pedi about it but....is your LO pigeon toed as well? If so, what has your pedi said and how are you dealing with the situation?
Re: Pigeon Toed...
I have seen tons of babies walk like that in my mom groups, The ones that don't walk yet and the babies that do walk arn't like that soo don't qoute me on it but really i would think it's just because she doesnt know how to walk and doesnt know how to use her feet while "walking".
