Turds? (Obviously TMI - but no pics!)

Not sure if this is temporary or due to something she ate, but DD's last 3 poos have been basically turds.  Is it already time for solid poo?

  • DD had a solid "turd" when she ate pees then she didn't poo for 5 days. I am so not a fan of solid food poop. I wish I could just breastfeed her until she is potty trained.

  • Its the dang solids.

I thought BF poop was bad... these solid poops stink worse.

  • DS alternates between solid and squishy. Sometimes he does squishy with tiny solid balls mixed in.

I dont know why but this ^ is making me LOL.

My LO started to get solid poops, which I didnt really have a problem with. When MIL changed him she flipped out and said he shouldnt have solid poops yet and I need to feed him prunes.  We now feed him 1/3 a jar of prunes every day to keep his poops not solid.  I dont really know if this is right or not. I'll have to ask the dr at the next visit. I just assumed MIL knew what she was talking about.

  • Even though we've been doing solids for a while, DD's poop just started turning into turds last week. We had flown across the Atlantic and her eating was off anyway, though, and just the other day she went back to squishy poop. I don't know what exactly is going on, but she doesn't seem to be constipated, so I'm just going with the flow.
