**last minute gift help**

ok so the adults are doing a themed gift exchange- you got a person and their favorite movie and your gift has to reflect the movie (like if the person liked Jerry Mcguire- you could get something sports related or lotto tickets)

So my husband picked my cousin and her fave movie is Forrest Gump. I'm trying to help him get a little more creative than "a box of chocolate" but I'm at a loss...

I was thinking a magazine subscription to something like Time but although I would like it- not sure my cousin would...She likes music so I thought about Cds for the 50,60,70 and 80s-but again thats just eh to me...

so thoughts?

Re: **last minute gift help**

  • Does he run? or exercise?  There is the Run, Forrest, Run!  that you play off of and get him something related to exercise? Or a giftcard to Footlocker to get new sneakers??

  • Here is a good overview of the movie that may give you a good idea, like an ice cream gift card in a bed pan...

  • I was thinking ping pong, too.  Maybe a gc to a seafood restaurant in reference to the restaurant like was mentioned above?

Or wasn't there a feather in there?  Maybe a feather pillow or something?  Yeah, maybe not - that's kinda lame, sorry!
