Cloth training pants & PT update

Hi all!

I'm happy to report that PT has been quite a success over the last week or so, thanks in part to the cloth training pants I bought.  DS was excited to get a box from UPS and open the packages of big boy undies.  So, I started him on them after preschool the next day, taking him to the potty every hour or so.  The first time he had an accident he said "Clean me up!  I'm wet!" which was a good learning moment for him.  That happened a couple more times, but fortunately the trainers held in all the wetness and I had no mess to clean up.  And he was immediately aware that he had gone, so that by the third day or so he was actually requesting to go to the potty rather than me having to take him.

So, I would definitely recommend them to anyone whose LO needs a little extra motivation to get to the potty, but they don't want to be cleaning up extra messes :)  The biggest change was in me actually taking him to the potty regularly, which I had been lax on doing, so this was a way to motivate me as well as far as getting him out of diapers.  Yay for PT!  (as I was writing this, DS actually ran by saying I gotta go to the potty!  woohoo!)
