anyone know how to cure..

sciatic nerve pain? Or not even to cure, but even just to help alleviate? I get it on the right side of my butt & upper thigh. It's sooo painful & I know that lots of people have them. A girl just posted about this the other day, but last time I checked, no one had posted any remedies.. & this is about the 6th week I've been going through this now. NO fun..

help?!!? :(

  • I asked the DR about this and he said tylenol, heating pad, pillow between your knees while you sleep. That's about it, I find the heating pad helps a lot

  • I don't know any "cure" but I lie on my back and cross my right ankle over my left knee then use my arms to lift my left knee toward my chest to stretch the outer quad and glute muscle. Does this make sense? Also, try some other reflexology or resistance.

I had to do physical therapy with my first pregnancy and I think I will have to again with this one.

Good luck! I know how painful it is!

bio freeze or icy hot. The bio freeze worked so much better.

  • My advice would be to get connected with a chiropractor. They can help relieve the sciatic nerve pain as well as help with any pain you have in your pelvis and hips later on. Plus, often times labor and delivery go much smoother when you are receiving chiropractic care along with your prenatal care. Good luck and hope you feel better!
  • Sleep with a pillow between your legs and if you are on your feet a lot at work or throughout the day take a break and prop your feet up on a chair. I don't have it bad but it has been bothering me since early on.
