a/s today...trying not to be worried

We had our anatomy scan today and the good news is that baby was measuring right where he should be and everything is porportional. The part that I'm trying not to worry about is the tech saw a cyst on his brain. She said everything else looked great including the heart and all other organs and that she sees these cysts almost daily. So therefore I should not worry because she didn't see any other abnormalities. She said we would be sent for a level 2 u/s either before or after we see the dr in 2 weeks.

Its just hard to not worry when I'm naturally a worrier. Anyone else have experience with this and how did it turn out?

    I'm glad to hear most things have gone well, I'm sorry to hear about the stress. :( I can't give you any advice but I'll keep you in my thoughts. Hope all goes well!

    Actually 2 of my friends are going through this now.  They are both due in Feb.  At 20 wks both of their scans showed the cyst on the brain.  Both went back for follow up u/s in the past week and the cyst is gone!  I hope you have the same news when you go back.

    My /Chart; BFP 3/8/11 CP 3/16/11; 7/11 HSG & S/A both clear;
    Cycle 12~ 50 mg Clomid=BFP 9/9/11, Beta #1=280 & Beta #2=1513, 6w3d hb=122 bpm/ 8w2d hb=186 bpm/12w2d could not hear hb had a 3rd u/s and got to see the hb. 16w2d heard the hb! 156 bpm. A/S 1/3=girl

    I had my scan today and they found 2 less than 3mm...I have to go for a follow up ultrasound because I also have a single artery umbilical cord....I'm trying not to worry too...in fact went and did some baby shopping to force my optimism:)
