Back on the TTC ride

I went back to the RE this morning, after 7 weeks of not going.  I can't say I missed the place, although the free coffee is good.  :)  I said I was there for Provera blood work and the billing lady asked if it was Day 2...I was like, uh, no?  So hopefully a period arrives and we can get this show back on the road!

In other news, my boss wants me to interview people for a vacant position, and I have no idea how to do this...  My first interviewee is "affluent" in Spanish according to the resume.  Proof read people!

TTC with PCOS since July 2011.
IVF Oct/Nov 2012

  • Goog luck...we are TWW right now.  Hopefully there is going to be a flood of BFP in this room for the next few months.  This waiting is killing us again but we had two big follies, two loaded vials, and DW got O cramps like 4 hours after IUI 1 so hopefully the stars are all aligned this month.  Come on January 5th.
We had three BFN in the Fall of 2011. It is back on to some baby making come June. Swim little fellas, SWIM!!!!
  • Good luck! Do you have your pickle ornament? Wink

  • Good luck! I'm in the same boat, we've been on a break since October, I'm excited to get started. That is if my period every starts, I'm on CD53 right now which is the longest cycle I've ever had. Just out of curiosity, how long did you wait before requesting provera? Right now we're just waiting...and hoping this pickle ornament does the trick ;-)

IUI #2 (100 mg clomid and HCG trigger) - BFN

I don't!!  :(  Maybe that is my problem??  Maybe DW and I can find one at an after-Christmas sale?  :)

I think I'm on day 48ish (I kind of stop counting once I hit the 30's).  I would have gone in earlier, except that it would have caused either my period to start while we're out of town for the holidays or important monitoring/possible O to happen while we're gone.  My period is wonky on its own, and has unfortunatley (maddeningly!!) been extra wonky since we started PCP a year ago.  We charted for the first 30 days or so of this month and it was fairly clear that I didn't ovulate, so I don't see any reason to wait to request Provera.  The last several periods that I've had have all been either after Clomid-induced ovulation or withdrawal from Provera.

If I remember right though, you're coming off of a BFN IVF cycle?  In that case I'd probably be tempted to wait a bit longer since you're waiting for your horomones and everything to stablize after IVF.  That said, 53 days is a long time, so I also wouldn't blame you at all for going in!  I'll keep my fingers crossed that the pickle ornament manages to work on its own ;) and hopefully you can get back into TTCing too!!

I'm thinking the same thing, we had a c/p in the beginning of Oct from our fresh IVF cycle, jumped right back in a few weeks after that with a FET and had a BFN, so I don't mind giving my poor body some time to recover. Just today I've been having some PMS symptoms so I'm thinking it might be in the nearish future.

I'm definitely hoping January brings wonderful news for all of us :-)
