It was mentioned in another post...I was at sams club last night and there was a "my first trampoline) for like $130...it's a big one for outside but it's lower and maybe like 5' diameter. It had tall walls.

Re: S/o trampolines
Calyn is getting this from my mom for Xmas with hopes it will fit in my basement until the weather gets nicer. I'd rather her jump on that than her bed or the couch. Lol. IDK we will see how it goes I guess.
This is just my opinion, and it could be my PT background, but there is a risk of spinal cord injury (landing wrong) or brain injury (this has lessened with the nets around them, and putting them lower to the ground). It gets even riskier with multiple jumpers. I know that we cannot put our kids in bubbles, but since there has been reports of significant risks with them, I am going to avoid buying one for our kids.
All physical activity comes with risk. 3.5 million sports injuries are recorded annually, 80,000 of those are caused by trampolines. But nearly 285,000 are cause by bicycling, and 205,400 by basketball. (resource AAP Safe Kids Campaign) just like with all parenting we make the most informed decision for our kids and hope its the right one.
There was a young man who was killed in a car accident on the road next to me last week that aued football with my brother. We can do everything Right and still something horrible could happen.
I completely agree with this. I was just stating my personal opinion on trampolines and why we won't get one.
I did not think that you were being snotty at all
That is what is great about this board, we can share our opinions without judgement. It was good to see the figures that you had found. Happy Holidays to you too!!
