Everyone is happy and healthy and we found out we're on team blue this time! DH is happy, I'm still shocked and DD said she wanted a sister, but she's adjusting quickly.
We had the tech write it down and took it to party city for the balloon in the box thing. I know it's cheesy and my family mocked me for it but I figure it's my last round finding this stuff out so I'd make it a big deal. The first time I told DH via text and it was so anti climatic that I wanted it different this time. DD was thrilled to be the one to open the box and see two different color blue balloons come out!
Re: had our A/S today
After 22 cycles and tube removal our IVF miracle has arrived! Detailed IF and IVF info in bio.
Congrats!! We did something similar: had the tech write down the babies sexes in an envelope and the went to Babies R Us to buy outfits. They looked at the envelopes and we opened the "gifts" to reveal boys or girls in front of about 30 friends and family. Waiting those 3 hours to open the boxes nearly killed me though!:) We got ours on video and I'm so glad we did.
I'm assuming A/S means Amnio Syntesis? Trust me you'll be glad you did this. Our boy showed elevated markers for Downs and it's all I think/worry about. I wish I had done the Amnio (we still might) just to rule it out. I want to be joyful on their birth and not be 'explaining' anything to family or friends.
Good luck with your pregnancy, and congrats!!

I thought A/S was anatomy scan! Everything looked good on our scan so we didn't do any further testing (although we are waiting for blood work I did earlier to get back). Good luck with everything for you!
