Car seat inspection

My grandson is 11 weeks old. Since he (and his mom) live with me, I do a lot of driving him around. I just bought a 2001 car that does not have the LATCH system in it. I know we can use the seat belt and it should be safe, but I'd like to have a "professional" help us get the car seat installed correctly. Any idea where I can have that done?

Your local fire department or police station should have a schedule for this type of thing.

Amma in Edina has a carseat tech who does inspections on a monthly (I think) basis.

Baby Grand in St. Paul and Hopkins has staff members that are wonderful installing car seats. They are always up to date on the latest seats, etc. However, you do need to purchase the seat with them - obviously. I have four kids and have gotten all six seats with them - I wouldn't trust anyone but the people who deal with the merchandise everyday!
