do people feel the need to give parenting advice on FB?

my friend who has a 3month DD was excited that she slept for a solid 7hrs. Some bozo commented "did you give her cold meds?" Tongue Tied wow.

my cousin who has a 6week old said she is excited for when her DS sleeps more because she is exhausted and working full time (already!) again. One of her ding-dong friends said "fill up his bottle with rice cereal, that will keep him full and he wont wake up during the night" Sad yikes.

what is some of the bad advice you got from family or friends?

    I got a lot of ppl telling me to put whisky on her gums for teething. Which..I have no idea how horrible it is for them, but I just think there are other ways of doing that!  I really havent gotten much bad advice lately, thank goodness!

    I constantly get advice on how to fatten DS up. I'm so sick of hearing people's stupid ideas on how to get my child to eat or put weight on. Further more the fact that they all seem to think I actually give a rat's a$$ what they think. Sorry just thinking about it makes my blood boil.
