teacher gifts at daycare

I gave my son's teachers (the 2 who run his room) $25 gift cards to target. He has been in this room since September. However, he was in a younger room from last March to this September. Should I give the teacher in the room one? (i have an extra) I am undecided...I'm trying to save $$ and considered using the gift card for family stocking stuffers, and she may never know, but then again it's a nice gesture.,,, (ps, getting something smaller isn't ideal right now - I've got my hands full!)

Re: teacher gifts at daycare

  • If you wanted to do something non-monetary for the March - Sept teacher you could have DS make him/her something? _grasps for other ideas_

  • We have the same issue (DS moved to his new room in Sept., as well).  To be honest, I didn't even think of getting his old teacher her own gift. We did get gifts for his 3 current teachers and then we gave the rest of the staff some choc covered pretzels and other goodies to share as a group gift.  I think you have to draw the line somewhere. It would get pricey!
