I just got back from my 30 week apt and am measuring at 34 weeks... No wonder I feel HUGE! . And if one more person asks me if there are twins in there I'm going to have to beat them.
Aggghh! Don't you just hate some people/their comments? I have a gentleman at my work that, (sighh...) he means well... but the things he says... are just so... not needed. Like he came by my office and as he passed by he poked his head in and said, "rough couple of weeks huh?!" and gestured towards my bump. : /
Then this week he saw me and he said " whoa, Ohhh"... and gestured towards my bump motioning that it got bigger! : /
Like seriously! As if I don't know that my belly is portuding out bigger and bigger by the week/day. Come on! Some people should just shut up.. I tell ya'!
Bright side for you though- you're that much closer??!!!
I was measuring a week ahead at my appt last month...tomorrow is my next appt. I have a feeling that has increased. I keep getting similar comments...twins, you're having a Christmas baby, etc. My belly has just gotten huge and i'm pretty petite any way so I feel like it stands out more....but I am definitely questioning my clothes working these last two months. All these comments Im getting makes me think she's going to come early....

I feel this way exactly!!!!!!!!! I've been getting this question since I was 24 weeks.

I've taken to wearing my bella band again, just to cover up the oh so attractive stretchmarks. With my last pg's I was heavier, so I looked bigger overall. This time I have a torpedo belly, at least thats what DH calls it.
I feel ya!!! I have been measuring ahead too and since I was 3 months ppl have been asking me if I was having twins. They keep saying that one is hidden in there. I also have ppl ask me when my due date is and when I tell them January they automatically say that it must be a boy since I am carrying so low... I started dropping at about 32 weeks. It gets on my nerves!!!!!
Today, someone first told me to be careful, because it looked like I could go at any minute. Then when I told her I had 6 more weeks to go, she said, "What?! Are you having triplets?!?" Luckily, I was in a good mood today, so it didn't affect me as much as it might have say... Tuesday when I was in a funk. But dang people, I'm not even measuring ahead! I don't feel like I look that big.
I've had the same comments and I'm not measuring ahead! Although I did have a super nice comment from a random person the other day. I was waiting in the lobby of my work building and a lady who I don't know walked by and said "you look so cute. Oh my goodness!". After all of the "big" comments and the fact that I feel like I must be measuring large (but apparently I'm not) that one nice random comment made me feel so great!
I've gotten asked 2 or 3 times now if I'm going to have twins and it makes me so upset! Especially since at my last doctor's appointment I was measuring DEAD ON. People just need to shut it!
Re: So that's the reason I've grown out of my mat shirts.

I got that a lot with my 1st. I was measuring 4-5 weeks ahead with him from 24 weeks on. Good times!
