Pediatrician recommendations for MoCo

hiya!  We just moved here to MoCo and we're searching for a good pediatrician.  We live near the Kentlands, so something local would be great!  We took DD to her 24-month checkup at THH Pediatrics and did NOT like the practice for many reasons.  We've heard good things about Potomac Pediatrics, Children's Pediatricians & Associates',  and Shady Grove Pediatrics.  Can you recommend your Pediatrician?  Ideally we'd love a practice with Saturday hours.

Sorry if this question's been asked a bazillion times before, but when I did a search thru the archives, nothing came up.

    We go to Hirsch Pediatrics, he was recommended by other bumpies and we really like him.  However, he's a single person practice and doesn't have Saturday hours, I think he may make an exception for a sick visit if needed. The single doctor practice hasn't been an issue for us - once when DS got a stomach bug Dr. Hirsch was out of town but he has another doctor fill in - she called us back right away and was very helpful on the phone.  Unless DS got worse, we didn't need to go in to see her. 

    I did the open house thing at Potomac Pediatrics and they seemed good, but I liked the idea of one doctor, and loved Dr. Hirsh's offices.

    Thanks UMDbride,  we actually looked into Dr. Hirsch.  Unfortunately, according to their website, they're not accepting any new patients except newborns.  Since DD is 2, we are outta luck.

    I also take my kids to Dr. Hirsch and we really like him. He's extremely responsive and I love that he's accessible by email or his website.

    We like Pediatric and Adolescent Care. It's close to Lake Forest but they have sick hours on Saturdays and Sundays and that makes it so worthwhile to me.

    Oh, I had no idea...sorry about that!  You could see if he'd tell you the doctors he refers to when he's out, the woman I spoke with was really nice and I'd consider going to her too (I just don't remember her name). GL!

    Ditto this - we have used this practice since Maggie was born and are very happy with all the docs.

    We go to Dr. Moyer, Hall and Hart at Potomac Pediatric Care and love them. They have an office at Quince Orchard/Darnestown Rd (underneath the Rockafellas) and also in M. Village near Midcounty Hwy. They have Sat hours. I've always been very happy with the care and they are very thorough at well appt visits and easy to get in when you have a same day need.
