Anyone suffering with Hyperemesis?

So, I don't know if I am having mulitiples yet but I ended up at the emergency room for excessive vomiting. They hooked me up to an IV for two hours to rehydrate me. The doctor was telling me that hyperemesis is very common in multiples so I figured I would ask this board. :) I go to my doctor for a follow-up tomorrow and hopefully get an ultrasound and/or some bloodwork to confirm. TIA

    Oddly enough I had hyperemesis with my singleton pregnancies and not my twin.  I don't think it's a sure thing that you'd be having multiples.  I'm so sorry about the hyperemesis though - it's miserable.  I promise it will end at some point and IVs and zophran will be your friends...use them.

    I had it really bad. I lost 25 lbs in 3 weeks and ended up in the ER a few times for IV fluids. Zofran was my friend, but be sure to take lots of fiber with it. I hope you feel better!

    I had worse HEG with my singleton than with my twins.

    Had it with my singleton, and with my twins it wasn't as bad and didn't last as long.

    Same as the previous two posters. Had it with my DS and my twin girls but it was MUCH worse and lasted the entire pregnancy with my son. More tolerable with the girls and seemed to ease as I hit 28 weeks or so nGood luck!
