It seems like there are not many options in stores so I'm turning to online shopping. Have you found somewhere you can buy cribs in person or even online that seem to have good prices and don't cost an arm and a leg?
baby depot at Burlington Coat Factory is where I got mine, nice wood and has lasted 2 kids and even daddy hid in it once during hide and go seek and it's still looking great!
I;m hoping to get mine at Costco. last year they had a really nice dark wood set and it was the crib able to convert to a bed and had matching dresser and all for a good price
Burlington... They have really good prices. I had a crib picked out at BRU for $179. My mom bought it at Burlington had it for $149 plus she used a 20% off email coupon.
I have offically looked everywhere for my perfect ideal crib! I found my crib the Graco lauren classic crib in the espresso color at Target for 150 but you have to pay for shipping...so I looked at Amazon and found the exact crib for 129 with no tax and no shipping costs! My vote is Amazon...they seem to out do anything!
Ordered mine on Cyber Monday from Walmart.com (b/c I didn't want to get out in the craziness of Black friday. We got a Grayco Freeport Changing table, Mattress and crib for $240- was a great deal-They may still have it for that price? GL in your search!!

we got ours at BRU. we went in thinking we'd just find out what the options were and ended up finding one that we LOVED and just had to have. it was $399, plus the conversion rails. we decided that the price was worth it for a couple reasons: 1- it is super sturdy. 2- we LOVE it. 3- it will last our daughter until she decides she needs a bed bigger than a full size (hopefully more than 18 years from now).

You ladies gave me some great ideas. Both the crib and bedding that I picked out are just online and out of stock everywhere so I'm having to start from scratch. Now I have more places to look!!
Baby Depot at Burlington Coat Factory. We don't have a Babies R us within 2 hours so my online in store options are Walmart, Target or Burlington Coat Factory. And since I wanted a nice crib that isn't pine so it won't scratch like crazy, Burlington was the winner. (Pine are cheaper though.)
