My little dog of 8 years was struck and killed by a car yesterday. He was by far my first baby (I don't have any other children) and I am completely heartbroken and devastated by what happened. Just need your thoughts and prayers, as I am more than just sad. He meant the world to me.

My heart is breaking for you. When I was 11 weeks pregnant with my first my dog of 10 years was killed by a car too. It was one of the most devastating things that could have happened while I was pregnant. I was so distraught I didn't know how to handle it. My T&P are with you. BIG HUGS

I am truly sorry for the loss of your furbaby. My dogs are just as much as a family member like anyone else in my family (no I don't have kids yet). I lost both of my furbabies to a terrible accident 6 years ago and I still miss them. However, now I smile at all the wonderful times we spent together and that makes me happy. I promise that it will get easier and it wont hurt as much. Just remember that your furbaby knows you love them! Please take care of yourself. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for you... I lost my childhood dog of 16 years in September...A blow that not even time could have prepared me for. Oh no

I am so very sorry! I know that is so tough. We lost our dog this summer, and I thought it happened fast. We took him to the vet, and had to put him down in 2 days. I am very grateful that we were able to say goodbye to him. Sending lots of thoughts and prayers your way...
