Have you been letting him air out? I don't know what the heck else to do besides air out and the cream. Poor things, it stinks when you want to do something but can't.
I have been letting him air out for about an hour after his baths. He starts to look a lot better before bed, still has a few sores but most of the redness is gone. But by the time he wakes up it is terrible all over again. I have even started changing him in the middle of the night.
Butting in: L had a terrible diaper rash one time. Pedi has us put neosporin on it then diaper rash cream on top of the neosporin. It cleared right up. You may want to give it a try.

Definitely improved, but still there. We have been letting her go naked from when she is picked up from daycare til bedtime (she has peed all over the house and on each of us, lol). Making sure it is really dry before diapering, patting her with a damp cloth instead of using wipes, and dabbing on lotrimin first (per the pedi) and then the purple maximum strength desitin on top of that. We did stop the lotrimin today and just are doing the purple desitin now. Hoping it will be gone soon!! Thanks for asking *hug*
