.....on trying to eat healthy this Christmas season. It's a losing game. DH is going to be mighty disappointed when he comes home and sees the empty cookie plate on the counter...
It's near impossible to eat healthy around the holiday season I'm trying to do semi good and then on Christmas Eve, Christmas day and New Years eve eat what I want when I want. Holidays are for the good eats, after all!!

I want all of this! In the last week or so I have finally been able to muster up an appetite. Terrible ms all day for 10 straight weeks. I LOVE sweets and everything alike but this baby.... Doesn't seem to. I want my normal or even enganced appetitive!!!

I know what you mean! Any time someone mentions ANYTHING about food I think to myself "wow that sounds really good!!"
I find its been hardest at work - we keep getting boxes of chocolates, or boxes of baking delivered to our office. And with a few staff already off for the holidays there is less competition for the really good stuff.
It's honestly getting to the point where I don't even want to go into the kitchen because I can smell all the goodies and in with the smell, out with the willpower.
I've given up, too. Every day I feel a hint of guilt over what I've eaten, but I can't stop myself. Between all of the programs here baking with their clients, cookie exchanges, and staff bringing in goodies, I'm surprised I don't have scurvy by now. I had a box of chocolate covered almonds for BREAKFAST yesterday. I NEVER eat that badly! Now I've got 3 bags of cookies, a bag of candy, a bag of potato chips, and a box of cookies sitting on my desk!
Re: I have completely given up....
Then came a miscarriage March '11
