Tapering in growth?

I got back the results of my ultrasound today, and it said that the babies are tapering off in growth, especially baby A.  My OB is keeping a close eye on them, and I'm having another ultrasound done in early January. Did a lot of you find this happened later on in pregnancy?

    Nothing that was ever really confirmed, but I had smaller babies at birth when they were measuring large in growth u/s's.  They were born @ 5lb each @ 36w.  

    They run out of room towards the end, I wouldn't worry if your doc isn't.

    My guys seemed to gain consistantly until the end (38wk1day) and on 37wk 6 days they were both measuring 7.5 lbs + by ultrasound. But, were 6lb 14oz and 6lbs 6oz actual....so...really, if they are healthy and no problems with placenta(s), then there probably isn't too much to worry about...
    God gave me a double portion for my inheritance with my little Mighty men :) 9/19/10 Baby A born at 1:47 am 6lbs 14oz, 20.5inches long. Baby B born at 3:20 am 6lbs 6oz, 19.5inches long. My double blessing!:)

    I remember reading in Dr. Luke's book that it is common for growth to taper in the end, because they are simply running out of room. It sounds like your Dr. is keeping a close eye on you, so I wouldn't worry at this point. Just keep trying to eat when you can and rest plenty!

    I'm @ 28 weeks now, and my OB told me yesterday that my girls are small.  Up until this point, they were exactly where they were supposed to be.  I was told the same thing - that they will keep an eye on it.  I'm trying to eat nutritous meals/snacks and get as much rest as possible (difficult while working, but I did say "as much as possible").

    It happened to me at week 27, i carried them for 4 more weeks to week 31 which landed baby a with IUGR (2lbs 8 oz) and baby b holding in the 90th percentile at 3lbs 8 oz.  if you carry 4 more weeks you will be at 38 weeks which is great! good luck, I am sure things will turn out just fine!!
