Got checked for the first time today and I'm.........

in January 2012 Moms
....1 cm dilated and 60% effaced. The doctor said I was pretty much 2 cm but she couldn't quite get that second finger in there to consider me 2 cm. It's good to know things have progressed. I took everyone's advice and tried to relax as much as I could. It didn't hurt but it was definitely uncomfortable. Just thought I'd share :)

    I had my first internal today as well, but I am not nearly as progressed (makes sense since I am almost 3 weeks behind you). I am almost 1cm and 20% effaced. But it's something!

    I'm hoping I'm at that point when I get checked next week! I wasn't dilated at all last week (but I was only 35 weeks). I felt a little defeated.
