I have several glass jars (from store bought jams, salsa, etc). Rather than just putting them in the recycle bin, I was hoping that I could reuse them for something. Any ideas? I'm not the craftiest person, but am willing to try.
Use them to make "in a jar" gifts. Like cookies in a jar, soup in a jar, chilli in a jar, etc. you put all the dry ingredients layered all pretty in the jar (think sand art), cover it with apiece of fabric and bow over the lid and tie the recipe to the bow.

I reuse mine in my kitchen to store things like dried beans and rice after I open a package and don't use it all. We also use them around the garage for storing things like nails and screws, as well as in my craft area for little things.
