SO glad I'm not the only one! I have felt like the worst Mom for never filling out T's. My Momhas made me feel bad about it, and DH and her gave me crap because I bought one for Callie. They said I should return it because I'm never going use it. I am determined to finish them!
That reminds me - I should order one for ds. Poor forgotten child.
Aaaaaah crap, I need to also. I JUST filled in Ava's milestones. Thank god she hit her milestones (crawling, walking, etc) around certain holidays, so I was able to fudge the dates a little. I already feel bad for DD2. lol
Oh yeah - I'm going to be doing a LOT of research. Basically - I need to do the facebook timeline thing and look through our photos on our other laptop. I'm sure there will be a lot of "ish" dates. I need to get weights from the doctors, etc...they will be none the wiser
The thought of having to do all this research to fill in the baby book after the fact makes me glad I did it (mostly) so far for Charlotte. Poor baby #2, there is no chance I will be able to keep up with it. And probably no way I would have the dedication to research it afterwards haha.
I don't remember the last time I opened Stella's. We bought Audrey's the night before my c/s and I think I might have filled out some info. in the hospital, but it definitely hasn't been touched since then. Maybe over the long weekend I can add some things to them.
It's been over a year since I have touched Belle's. But I take so so many pictures and with my blog I already have a pretty good baby book going on line for her. I do plan on filing in more soon. At least I can easily find all the info I will need between my blog, facebook, and pictures. So glad I am not the only one to forget about the baby book over time.

Nice to know I'm not alone. I got a calendar (and a book but that's super empty) and that worked well with a lot of J's info. And I filled it until like March and then completely slacked. There will be some researching/fudging dates.
The worst part is that I'm a 2nd child and this happened to my book and I was all determined not to do it to my kids, ha!
One of the best pieces of advice I got from a friend was not to buy a baby book. She said it would just cause me guilt, so I never got one for either kid. We do have a blog that functions as a baby book, and I have boxes where I throw in things like their ultrasounds, footprints, stuff like that. But I never thought about putting together a book after the fact, that sounds like a good idea!
Haha! I still had the guilt and I never bought them. I loved the calendar idea, but what I didn't do for one I couldn't do for the other. I didn't do baby announcements either - I designed and ordered Evan's and they made a mistake in printing. I literally had a nervous breakdown from that and lack of sleep. Omg. My guilt keeps comounding as the kids get older... So I thought if I took care of this one I can then deal with the zillion other guilt makers haha!!
I was just looking through Greyson's empty book thinking about baby #2. I have some things completed in my baby book and while it isn't much it is something that I like to look back on. The biggest reason I don't want to write in it.... I hate my hand writing!!
I know that the kids won't care one bit but when I look back on it all I will think is wow my penmanship is horrible.

Oh I know, that is another thing. I am petrified of screwing up and needing to cross off stuff. I may write in pencil first, then over that with a pen...haha! I bought a book that is pretty minimalistic...so I'm going with the less is more / artsy approach. Ha!
I've given up on the baby book idea. I started one with Justin and never finished it. I never even bought one for Dylan. I know they probably won't care a bit about them when they're older (since they're boys) so that helps me sleep at night ;o)

We did announcements for Chelsea but not for Molly. We also haven't printed any photos since Molly was born. She's 17 months old. The only photos we have of her in the house are the professional ones from last Christmas, when she was five months old.
I've done ok with the baby books, but there are definitely some missing pieces in both of them!
Re: AW/confession
Umm, so at first I thought you meant like the baby books I am getting for dd - Bernstein Bear's New Baby book, etc.
Don't feel bad, I need to catch up on dd's book big time.
