Cautiously introducing myself

Hi ladies! I found out last week that we are expecting twins after IVF. Last week our baby B's heartbeat was only 91, so the doctor was unsure of how this pregnancy would go. However, today, he is more hopeful. Baby B's heartbeat is 127 (and Baby A's is 135). I am still not out of the woods, but am starting to let myself get a little excited about possibly having two more babies. I also have an almost 9 month old at home.

We are really excited and expecting that our house will be a tad crazy for the next few years. I think there are a few ladies that have had twins with a baby at home...any stories/advice? Right now, I am struggling with morning sickness and still making sure I have time for DS1. I work full time, but am looking forward to some much needed R & R over the holidays.

 I hope to be joining you guys for good.

    Congrats! Glad to hear baby B's heartrate increased! I also have an almost 9 month old at home. The twins are due at the end of July. I'm so nervous about 3u2.

    We are almost on the same timeline. Our twins are due the first week in August. I am nervous and excited about 3u2... or actually more like 3u17mos! I am just taking it one week at a time right now.

    I am sure I'll need a lot of advice from you! :)

    it's so scary... and even more so when they are born, lol... so you get used to the worry eventually - it's called being a mom :) Welcome!!

     

    I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.

    Congrats!!  I sure don't envy you....being at the beginning of a multiples pregnancy with a little one.  My son is 6 weeks shy of being 2 years older than my girls.  I could NOT keep up with him.  If I were in your shoes now I'd probably do everything I could do discourage LO from learning to walk too soon LOL  ;)  Take it easy and never ever turn down someone who offers to help.  T&P that both of your little ones continue to look great!  Welcome to the group, lots of great ladies and advice here.  Again, congrats!

    We also had IVF and I know exactly how it is to be pulling for both babies once they're in there (even if you started out planning for only one). Congrats & I hope both continue to thrive.
