Place your bets....3cm, 80% effaced, 0 station

I am 39 weeks today and man it would be nice if she came in the next week.  I KNOW this is no indicator but someone please humor me.  lol  The midwife said my water could break at any time.  Last week I was 2 cm and 40-50% effaced so I have had progress.  Tell me your opinion based on these facts.  Wish labor were more predictable! lol

    Sorry, I can't place a bet! I don't want to let you down if I am wrong! I was 2cm and 80% effaced last wed at 38weeks..we go for our 39week check up in 1 1/2hrs from now!   whats ur DD?

    I don't want to be a downer here but for my 40 wk appt last Wed I was 3 cm, 75% effaced so it could be more than a week before baby decides to come.  But...it could be tonight!

    I was 3cm, 75% effaced with my first for exactly 2 weeks and 3 days when I was induced at 40w 3d. On the other hand, I was only 2cm dilated when I went into labor on my own with my daughter at 39w. It's hard to tell, but your due date is so close I'm going to say 12/28 because that's my son's bday :)

    (p.s. not sure why your midwife mentioned your water breaking...that only happens about 10% of the time as opposed to contractions starting first).
