Oh 36 weeks....

Throughout this entire pregnancy I've been pretty lucky. I was terribly sick for the first 16 weeks, but other than that baby and I have been healthy with no GD, no HBP, and no real health concerns. I am even still working 50 hours a week without my feet or legs swelling. THIS WEEK I am exhausted, my back has a permanent pinched nerve feeling, I messed up one of my knees, there's oh so much pressure, and I feel like I am going to pop. Everyone kept asking how I was doing so much as far along as I am and I didn't realize why they thought it was so odd until today. If everyone else has been feeling like this for a few weeks, I don't know how you've done it...We're almost there ladies!

    Pregnancy Ticker
  • Yup, after feeling great for the first 8+ months, I hit the 'pregnancy wall' at 35 weeks when my body suddenly decided to *really* let me know that Im pregnant.

Thanks goodness for the home stretch, indeed!

  • Aw, I'm sorry :(

I've definitely started slowing down a bit due to aches and pains, but I expect it to get much worse!

  • yup this is the home stretch! I'm 36 weeks and haven't started complaining about being "done" because I want to wait til I'm officially full term at 37 weeks to complain!  Also I am going with some awesome midwives but I can't be admitted to their alternative birthing center unless I'm full term and have no complications, so as soon as I hit 37 weeks next week then I'll be hoping this baby comes out soon :)
  • I'm right there with you. . .I've been working on a crazy project this entire pregnancy, which frequently involves 10 hour days or at least 8 straight hours of meetings without any scheduled breaks (I just leave when I need to). It's destroyed my back and I am so run into the ground by the end of the day. It hit me a few weeks ago and I was just counting down the days to this week (which I have off). I have to go back up until I have my baby. Adding insult to injury my dr told me I'll probably go past my due date. But, we can do it!
