Summer Infant Baby Touch Video Monitor

Hi, ladies.  I contemplating purchasing this monitor for the twins' room.  My question is:  Do I need 2 cameras or will one camera be able to pan and scan the entire room so that I can see both babies when in separate cribs?  TIA!

    It's probably not necessary, but I bought 2 cameras and set it up to scan between the two of them.

    Probably depends on how big your room is and how close together you have the cribs. I had to get 2 cameras, but I also don't have the option to zoom in or out or change direction of the camera.

    We have the cribs on one wall, side by side, and can pan the camera to see in both.  I suppose it depends on how the room is set up.  :)

    We bought two cameras, our model wouldn't pan both cribs and after 7mths we seperated their rooms anyway. Which in the long run was a blessing anyway, because the first monitor got "washed" in the tub, so we had the back-up monitor from the other camera and didn't have to buy a whole new set!
