DH update(finally)

Now that I have about 30 seconds to breathe, I thought I'd update you on my DH. Well, he spent 5 days in the hospital and finally got out on Thursday. He broke his femur and is now sporting a nice rod and 4 screws. The surgery was more complicated than originally thought because his leg isnt "normal" to begin with. Either way, he is home now and is bedridden for the time being. He has a walker and can get up to go to the bathroom and cruise the hallway for a minute but that's about it. I ended up getting a stomach bug on Sunday that I thought was exhaustion but turns out it was a virus as it has now been passed to everyone in the fam including poor DH. We have a long road of rehabilitation ahead of us(4-6 months) but he goes back to his surgeon next week and I'm hoping we can start PT at that point. I feel like I am a single mom with 3 kids and an added newborn :) so, I'm ready for 2011 to end and 2012 to begin.

    Oh my goodness!  You've got so much on your shoulders right now.  Here's to getting through this rough part quickly and a great start to 2012 for you guys, including a full and speedy recovery for your DH.

    *folic acid, baby asprin, Prometrium, acupuncture, Lovenox*
    BFP @ 9dpo 2.1.2012 || HCG = 8 : Progesterone = 19.2
    2nd HCG @ 11dpo = 40 || 3rd HCG @ 21dpo = over 5000!

    Ughhhhh, good luck and hang in there!  That stomach bug went through our house. It's nasty:( Hope you're all well soon!!

    How miserable for everyone! I'm so sorry about his leg and what bad timing for the stomach bug! Hopefully everyone feels better soon and y'all can focus on getting his leg healed up, I'm sure your hands are full!
