Should I call my regular doctor?

Since Thanksgiving I have had a cough that comes and goes and for the past few days I have had a "stuffed up" ear I can hear out of it but it feels is lodged in there. My cough was better but last night I started up again. I am afraid to go on meds now with edd so close. Should I just suck it up and make an appointment for tomorrow?

  • Probably.  Make sure you mention to them when you make the appointment that you're pregnant.  They may tell you to go to your OBGYN because they're more versed in what is and isn't safe for pregnancy.  Then again, they may be happy to help you.

  • I would. Being miserable is bad for you and the baby. They might be able to give you some natural remedies if you're really worried about taking meds, but they should also be able to give you something that is pregnancy safe.

If my doctor cannot recognize I am pregnant he would be an idiot! I am so big now!
