PIP Fun: Christmas Gifts

So ladies, let's do some PIP fun!!!! Post a picture of something that you wanted as a child, something you're buying for LO this year, or something that you want for yourself for Christmas. I'm super bored at work, so I'll do all three :)

As a kid: I LOVED dollhouses!! i had so many different people & accessories. It was probably one of my favorite parts of childhood. I really hope DD is into dolls & stuff so that I can relive a part of my youth lol.

For LO: it's a definite splurge (i mean, $20 for a chew toy) but I've been convinced by the ladies in my birth month group of how awesome it is and I'm tired of seeing her chew on her hands, so we're gonna try this lady out. It's Sophie the Giraffe!

For myself: (can't figure out what I want, & money is tight so i'll just skip gifts for myself this year)

    I always wanted Felicity growing up. I ended up buying her for myself when I was in college.

    This is a fun post! Its always good to talk about something that is not drama on the board. After all, there are much more things going on for us as single moms. 

    I got a new coat for myself and that's pretty much it.  I lost weight and I need a whole new wardrobe but that is not happening anytime soon. 

    exactly! that's why I wanted to kinda lighten the "mood" around here a little bit today lol.

    Congrats on the weight loss!!! I know what you mean about needing a new wardrobe. I lost 60lbs before I got pregnant so between that, plus pregnancy, plus new mom pouch....I could use a few new items myself lol.

    I cried my eyes out when I opened up Baywatch Barbie as a child. I LOVED it and played with her constantly.

    My son's babysitter has the pink version of this pony and he is madly in love with it so I had to buy him one. He caught a sneak of it in my closet yesterday and cried and screamed because I wouldn't let him in to play with it. I am so anxious to give it to him.

    And for myself, I am moving into a new home and buying myself new bedroom accessories. New bedding, frame, nightstands, art. I have always wanted a very girly tranquil looking bedroom so I am very excited to do it.

    I don't remember a lot of what I wanted as a kid, but I do remember a lot of what I got. Several years ago, my parents got me a foot locker that I had been wanting for YEARS.

    For DS, I got him:

    Also a jumperoo and a bigger car seat. He got expensive!

    For myself, I bought me a smallprint necklace.

    60lbs? Way to go!  I wish I had that amount of weight loss to report lol. 

    thanks (it's probably a little less now) stress has caused a new love affair with iced animal crackers lol. i'm going to get back on track though, I have over 100 that i'm trying to lose, so i still have a way to go.

    I got DS a tool bench, cars 1&2, a plush Ernie, and Melissa and Doug easel and accessories. My Mom got him a leappad and his Dad got him the Radio Flyer roller coaster and a potty seat. I cannot wait for Christmas morning lol
