Congratulations on all the births lately and the BFP! It's all such exciting news!
QOTW: To tell you the truth, not really. I have such little room in my stomach area these days that looking forward to eating is not high on my priority list.
UPDATE: I'm still not dilated at all. I have my 38 week appointment tomorrow. We'll see what happens there. If my OB starts using the "I word (induction)" then I'm headed straight for the acupuncturist.

QOTW: I'm reeeeeally looking forward to the turkey/dressing/cranberry sauce sandwiches after Christmas is over. I'm attempting creamed spinach for the first time this year and I really, really hope it turns out. We had some at DH's company party last week and it was so.frickin'.good.
Updates: Last week the dr. gave me iron supplements because I'd been feeling so exhausted and run down. Turns out I probably wasn't eating enough protein. I've only taken a few of the supplements (taking them every other day), but I've been diligent about getting plenty of protein and I feel TONS better. It's pretty remarkable. Otherwise I'm feeling pretty good. Butterbean (who still has no name) is running out of room so that's making things a bit uncomfortable from time to time.
QOTW: I'm not really looking forward to any particular food. I suppose there might be berries at my SIL's for breakfast and those sound good. Otherwise food just isn't really working for me.
Updates: My mom wants to take me out and buy the baby furniture today! It's a little early so I'm going to stop by my SIL's and use her doppler (for some reason buying furniture makes me nervous). Also, we came out on Facebook so now everyone knows we're pregnant! It was a lot of fun reading through everyone's messages.

QOTW: Definitely looking forward to eating a big turkey dinner and my mom's Christmas dessert!!
Updates: Starting to get really tired these days, I've been going to bed by 9 but still feel completely pooped every day. I've been having a cup of coffee a few mornings a week at work which seems to pick me up but the downfall is it makes my already miserable heartburn even worse.
I'm looking forward to having next week off so I can hopefully take a few naps and also get everything in order for the baby.
Congrats Amyliisa and Ricola on your baby boys, and congrats sara on your BFP!

QOTW: I'm making red velvet cake balls this weekend and that's really the only thing I'm looking forward to.
Updates: My feet have really been swelling lately so I've been trying to cut back on salt and keep them up as much as possible. My bp has been fine but it's so uncomfortable when they swell. I feel like I'm going to get nagged more about my weight at my appt next week but it's so hard with the holidays. I'm really trying to exercise while I have this time off and make good meal choices during the week so I don't have to stress as much at Christmas.
I'm using my time off this week to get things as ready as possible so that when school starts back up, I don't have to do as much since I imagine I'll be super tired.
Overall, I'm just so excited and anxious for the next month and a half to go by so I can meet this little girl!

QOTW: Aside from Rouladen that my mom is making on Christmas, I don't know that there's anything I'm really looking forward to. I still have so many food aversions that I'm lucky if I can eat normally each day. I kind of want pigs in a blanket and I'm hoping they'll have some at the Christmas party I'm going to. Is that gross or what?
Update: Had my 12 week appt. yesterday (early). Baby's heartbeat was 170 - yay! We are slowly starting to tell people but won't "announce to the world" until tomorrow. I lost a pound since my last appointment. I'll blame it on the stomach bug DD gave me and not really having much of an appetite.
QOTW: Just looking forward to not cooking really. I'm not much into sweets.

Looking forward to giving DS all his Christmas presents and playing with him! Hoping they will keep him occupied for the next few months. Little girl continues to get stronger and stronger on the inside.

QOTW: I'm looking forward to Christmas Eve dinner at my mom's. Steak, twice baked potatoes, the works. We're staying with DHs parents for a week and I'll be sick of the food there after about three days.
Update: I HAVEN'T THROWN UP IN 4 DAYS!!! OMG, y'all, maybe I'm turning a corner. The nausea is still there somewhat but definitely not as bad. I realllllly hope this is the beginning of the end of feeling like crap 24/7.
Another exciting update---we find out what these babies are tomorrow!!! I did the cake idea, so I had the u/s last week, took the envelope to a baker and we pick up the cakes today. We'll cut into them tomorrow with my family and it's DHs birthday, so that will be such a fun birthday present. I am SO excited to find out what we're having!! We'll be videoing it for family that can't be there, so maybe I'll post it.
QOTW: Not really looking forward to anything. I don't even know what we are having. I am looking forward to having farmer's breakfast with bacon (turkey bacon) for Christmas morning. It'll just be me, DH, and L. I've been making farmer's breakfast a lot lately, but with lunchmeat ham (unless we have left over hamsteak.) I am super excited to have it with bacon.
UPDATE: Tiny is moving like crazy since I've been on break. I think all the slowing down is giving him/her the opportunity to really live it up in there. It is driving me insane. It was cute for a little while, but now it's all.the.time. I've started to leak, which I don't like. And, I am super horny, which is starting to get annoying. I am horny at the most inopportune times.
In more non-complaint news, I can't believe I am 10th down on the list. (Well, me and my 2 due date twins.) Double digits and 10th on the list...wow.

QOTW: I'm looking forward to lasagna on Christmas eve. I haven't had any food aversions yet, but all the holiday sweets are just not tempting me like usual, so that's nice! Updates: I'm just ready to get the show on the road! As in, it doesn't feel real yet, it's so early and the dr doesn't want to see us until next week for an us. It's starting to sink in, but I'm just dying to tell people, and yet I want more confirmation that all is ok! I did POAS for a digital on Monday and it said Pregnant, so that was awesome! When I did it last week, it was an error, so I didn't get that confirmation then.

QOTW: not really. I'm craving sausage and biscuits all the time right now and that's all I want.
Update: well I'm now about 26 weeks. Less than 100 days to go! We painted the nursery yesterday. My dad is putting up the chair rail tonight. Furniture was delivered today, so putting the crib together soon. I can't believe I only have 3 months left. Baby girl is moving like crazy lately and DH finally got to feel her last week. With my anterior placenta and his work schedule it seemed he would never feel her! Still don't have a name but we've narrowed it down. We both think we'll have to see her to name her.

Update: I get my rhogam shot next week. I'm doing tons better and the baby has stopped acting as though my ute is a rave which is a nice break.
I have hopes to get out and take the gender reveal photo soon and then we can add me to a team

QOTW: Nothing in particular. We are going to the inlaws this weekend and MIL is a great cook, so I'm sure whatever we are eating will be good.
Update: Had our a/s yesterday and everything looked great! Saw my SIL last weekend and she let me borrow a bunch of her maternity clothes, so I feel like I kind of have a new wardrobe now. Feeling good, just trucking along.

QOTW: I also haven't had any real aversions (yet) but I'm pretty stoked about the tamales that will be all around. The sweets haven't really been calling my name yet, so that's a nice surprise.
Update: We go in tomorrow for an u/s. The doctor said we *may* be able to hear the heartbeat. Fingers crossed!!
