Why is LO pooping so much at night?!

LO used to poop lots during the day, but never during the night. This past week, she has been laying some serious bombs around 2am after nursing, and again before morning! I changed her last night and chanced waking her up more, then after she ate - she pooped again in her clean diaper! I don't want to leave her in a super poopy diaper but if I change her again, it would be difficult to get her back down again.

She's been co-sleeping with us so it feels like I am sleeping next to an outhouse!! Is this just her belly transitioning to solids? We've been BLW/solids for about 2 months now but are still dealing with pretty explosive, BM poops.

Oh, how I dream of her STTN and avoiding this dilemma completely Wink

    My daughter STTN and she STILL has a poop diaper when she wakes up! I feel so bad, because who knows how long she has been sleeping in it--but I would say about half of the time when I change her in the AM there is poop in the diaper.

    Since LO has started vegies he almost never poops durring the day. I usually hear him wake up around 5:00, grunt for a few seconds, then he goes right back to sleep. I feel kinda bad leaving him sometimes, but he gets up between 6:00 and 6:30. Hes never had a diaper rash, so that hour musn't be bothering him much.

    This has happened to me recently as well.  The other day I checked on LO for the last time before I went to bed & she had pooped.  I certainly wasn't going to leave her like that for the rest of the night (she STTN) so I had no choice but to change her diaper & wake her.  She got really mad at me & cried throughout the whole diaper change but fell back asleep within a few minutes.
