Nervous Joy...

So at our 34 week appt. the doc said my belly is measuring smaller than it should. So he sent me to radiology to have an ultrasound to check on her growth right then.

I was told that I just "hide it well" lol... As if I am trying to hide this beautiful belly!

She is actually measuring 6 days AHEAD of her due date and around 5 lbs 4 oz!

My sister and I got to see her sucking on her bottom lip with her hands near her face (little booger didn't want us to see her facial features). It was so cute! AND she already has hair! Yay for no bald baby girl (jk, I would be fine if she came out with no hair).

We also confirmed once more that she is infact a GIRL!

Daddy was very sad that he could not be there for that, but relieved that she is just fine.

Everyone who keeps telling me my belly is too small to be due next month can BACK OFF now! LOL

    As I was reading this I was like, did I post earlier and forget about it?? Same thing happened to me today. I'm 34 and was measuring around 32 so I was sent to radiology to have my little girl checked. DH was sad he wasn't there cause he hasn't missed any other ultrasounds, but she was just fine and was measuring big - 5 lbs 10 oz. I know the ultrasound weight measurements aren't perfect at this stage in the game, but I had a feeling I would probably be having a big, healthy baby (my siblings and I were little chubby things at birth!). Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

    Glad to hear that the scan went well! I was also sent for a growth scan at 33 weeks bc of my lack of weight gain, and I was really nervous.  Turns out baby was growing just fine, even ahead of schedule.  Total relief.

    Are you tall like me? I am 5'7" and my doc said that could have an affect on it...
