Cash Assistance.

Ok ladies here we go!

As some of you may know I posted a post about getting a loan for a place to live. Some of you told me to get cash assistance and I said that I couldnt because I lived with my mother who is making to much a month but shes about to kick me and my DD out. DHS has been up my A$$ since DD was born just checking in and everything but I was wondering..if I  file again for cash assistance and say Im homeless since my mother is kicking me out , will DHS take my DD away? Thats the only reason why I havent filed again....

    Between this post and your CIO post I think you might be missing the bigger picture.   Can you not ask your DHS caseworker for suggestions on parenting classes or even some kind of group home in which you can be taught the tools of parenting and providing.  Some how I'm guessing that someone giving you your first months rent isn't gonna set you up for complete success and/or get DHS off your back.  I might be completely off base and if I am I'm sorry but it comes across that you need more than just a cash advance.
