I just had my 36 week appointment today and found out I haven't gained any weigh since last week and that I am still measuring 35 weeks. Up until now I have been measuring right on time and have steadily gained 1-2 pounds at every appointment for the last 3 months. I didn't gain anything until half way through the second tri. My doctor said she's not concerned yet and that I should just enjoy everything for Christmas. I do have an ultra sound on Friday to check fluids and another appointment next week on Tuesday. I know sometimes it doesn't mean anything, but I am 50% effaced and -2...in something else. Anyone else had a similar experience? (xp on 3rd tri)
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

Re: Would you be worried? xp w/ 3 tri
Not at all. Measuring one week behind is no big deal and don't stress about the lack of weight gain. I've gained a couple pounds in one week and then nothing for two and my OB is never worried.
Take a deep breath! It'll be ok!
If it makes you feel any better my measurements are usually a week or so ahead or behind, and I haven't gained any weigh in something like 3 weeks. (I have heard it is normal for weight gain to slow/stop at the end)
Hopefully you will be able to relax and still enjoy Christmas!
-2 in STATION, meaning the baby has dropped into your pelvis and is now 2cm above the ischial spines of the pelvic bone.
I wouldn't worry. If the dr isn't worried I'm sure everything is fine. I went through the first 5 months losing weight and then either gaining or losing a pound or two for the next several weeks. I'm still below my pre-pg weight but LO is doing great. The less weight you gain now the less you have to lose after baby is born.
I have lost 14 lbs in the last two weeks and my belly is still measuring within range. My doc is not worried about my weight impacting the baby. If you are really worried, you might want to pick up some Ensure or other supplemental high cal drink (I really like the Special K Protein shakes). Just have one with a snack for a few extra calories a day.
I wouldn't worry too much about the measuring exactly on target. LO's position has a huge impact on the measurements. As far as weight goes, water weight can fluctuate a ton during these last few weeks. Make sure you are getting more water than you think you need.
