Am I the only one?

I don't think I've had any BH contractions at all, is that weird?

  • (using my Napolean Dynamite voice)..... lucky!

I have the joys of BH all day, all night since like 20 weeks or something crazy early.  Sometimes I do confuse it with LO moving, so you're probably having a few and just not realizing it. But don't jinx yourself :)

  • I don't think I have. I can't tell if it's a BH or LO pressing outward.
  • I don't think I've had any either...

  • I don't think I've had any either.  No cramping, no BH, no mucus plug, no blood, no nothing.  Just the scraping of the cervix feeling off and on.  I highly doubt he's coming out in two weeks!

  • I haven't had any either.  Apparently I have an irritable uterus (according to my NSTs), but I haven't felt anything.

  • None here either.  My OB told me that some women don't have them or have them but don't feel them.

  • I haven't had any at all and I didn't with my last pregnancy either.

  • I don't think that is weird, my doc says that a lot of women never feel them.

  • I think I've been having them but I'm really not sure. I've heard that its really hard for FTMs to detect them.

  • I've really just started being able to differentiate between her rolling around and BH. I thought it was all movement, but I can now tell the difference since it's hard ALL over my belly.

  • I'm 37 weeks and haven't felt anything that feels like BH. I've felt period-crampy a few times but only short-term and it went away and didn't come back. So no pattern there or worsening. I had a dr's appointment today and she said baby is really low but my cervex hasn't changed. She said to monitor what I'm feeling and to go to L&D  if anything feels out of sorts or really different...LO comes first even at this time of year! But so far I haven't felt anything out of the ordinary. Except waddling haha

  • You are having them, everyone has them starting sometime in the first trimester. Most people start feeling them sometime in the last trimester but some people never feel them at all. With my first I NEVER felt them at all. But with this pregnancy I've been feeling them since Thanksgiving. Be glad you don't feel them, they are not comfortable!

  • I am the opposite.  Been having them since 20 weeks.  Starting around the third trimester I was having them regularly...about 30 a day.  Not painful but very distinct.  My whole stomach will noticeably tighten, to the point where I have to stop walking sometimes.  Sometimes they cause me to squeeze a little pee out.

Yet, I have not dilated or had any effacement AT ALL!!!  WTF??

  • I posted about this the other day. I'm either not having any or don't know it if I am. I don't think I would know one if it jumped up and slapped me in the face. Every time I feel a tightening, I just assume it's baby moving since it tends to happen in the same spots.
