Christmas Gifts for Xh etc

So I usually get a gift for DS's dad (XH) from DS. He's 3 this year so old enough to help pick out etc. Do you guys continue to do this? Also, Xh has a girlfriend now who lives with him. I'm not a fan, but we are cordial, so would you give a gift to the two of them (it's just a framed photo) - i.e. address to both of them?

    Before XH re-married, I used to pick something out for DS to give XH. Now that he is re-married, SM and DS pick something out together for him. And before I was married to DH, XH used to pick something out for me from DS. Now DH and DS pick it out.

    I would write the gift tag out to both of them from your DS--it sounds somewhat serious if she is living there with your ex. It can't hurt.

    We always get a gift from SD for her mom and put her mom's H's name on it too.

    I don't think you need to put the girlfriend's name on the gift tag.  Nice if they're married, unnecessary if they're not.

    True, but it will be considered a snub and won't do much for your cordial 'friendship'.

    Easier to put the name.

    I was wondering the same thing. I plan on getting some sort of collage frame with some pictures of DD for EX-H but wasnt sure if I should put the GF's name on it (they are living together and having a baby.) I think I am just going to put EX-H's name on it because the gift will be mostly for him. If it were something not as personal (for the house or new baby) I might include both names.
