Weird baby movement that kind of freaks me out...

So my little girl is head down and her butt is right in the middle where my stomach used to be. I feel her all the time and she does all kinds of excercises in there, always very busy :)

But now I'm feeling her butt move in this rhytmic matter she basically bounces once per second and it just goes on and on, like a very strong puls or as if she's, well dancing! lol

It's just so weird that it's going on like that. You ladies feel anything like it? I can feel and see my belly move that same way as well... :/ It's just so weird!!

    Sounds like the hiccups to me. My Baby A never gets them but Baby B- all the time. Hers can go on for 20 minutes at a time.

    I don't know. She has hiccups all the time and they feel completely different... :/ But maybe that's it. Thanks! :)

    This is my guess too.  Sometimes I feel them way down low but sometimes I can definitely feel them in the middle of my belly too.  And just like pp, roughly 20min at a time!

    My experience with the rhythmic, constant movemement is that it is her practicing her breathing.  It will be coming from her diaphragm so the vibration you feel will actually be very close to her rearend.  I only know this because I've had so many scans done that I get to see my LO practicing his breathing alot on the u/s and have seen/felt it at the same time and the tech informed me this is what was going on.  I started being able to feel it around 32 weeks, maybe earlier.  It's really cool - my LO starts each morning that way before I even get out of bed.  My whole belly will move just like you said.  Enjoy knowing she's getting her breathing practice in!

    Sounds like hiccups to me too. My lo gets them like 5x a day and sometimes they are really strong.

    I get the same thing and it's definitely not hiccups. It'a almost like a pulsing. I like the practice breathing explanation :)
