v-tech vs. Leapfrog

I want to get my son ( 5.5 years ) either the V-tech InnoTab , or the Leapfrog LeapPad . I'm just not sure is a better company. Any idea ?

    I don't know about the differences, but the Leapad is sold out everywhere. The only place you can find them is E-bay going for 4x their value! Availability might dictate your decision! :)

    My mom bought the V-tech Innotab for my 6 year old and she absolutely loves it! And she hasn't even started playing games on it yet :)

    the innotab is better as the apps dont cost $ is what I heard.  The screen is bigger on the innotab.  i bought my boys the innotab for their spring birthdays.. rom ebay - waiting still and got the leappad ipad from my mom. 

    I also found (as I am in Canada) the battery charger pack wasn't available in Canada for the Leap pad.
