We don't do a lot for each other so I was going to just plan 12 months worth of dates for 2012 (thanks for the idea xKimx!). I have them all planned out but never did anything with them. I still might if I can find the time...

Anyway, he has been talking about this old movie he used to watch as a kid that I have never heard of called "The Gnome Mobile" so I ordered that for him from Amazon. As a joke gift, stemming from a funny conversation we had recently, I'm going to get him a 6-pack of ginger ale.

I got him some slippers (with the hard sole and the backs, not clog-style - he was very specific) and a ShopVac. But for his stocking, I got new earbuds that have the Jets logo on them, and a couple bottles of BBQ sauce and some of his favorite candies.

I forgot that I told dh he was getting a 6 pk of beer.

dh is getting a food scale, a chicago bears hat, a b&n gift card for his nook, uno and phase 10(i thought card games would be fun)

I can't remember if I bought him anything else.

My mom and I went to Grove City in November and I bought him a pair of pants, shirts and a belt from Van Husen. I got him a Kinect as his big gift since he has been wanting it for a while now. I also got him a new Sabres hat but I think I will make that from Belle. I always feel like I need to spoil him as much as I spoil Belle.

We replaced his truck earlier this year. So I got him a toneau cover (the cover that goes over the bed of the truck). It was over 400 dollars but I had other people go in on it with me and he works so hard, it'll be worth to see his face. He will be surprised since we set a 100 dollar limit on each other.

But he always gets slippers, socks and a bag of peppermint patties. That is tradition.

A leather briefcase and an iPhone. Both of which he already got... so I got a new xBox Kinect game, the new Pirates DVD and WS peppermint hot chocolate for his stocking so he has something to open on Christmas.

A kindle, iTunes g/c, sweater for work, hat, gloves that you can pull back the fingers on so he can use his phone (not sure how good this will go over) and for his stocking I got some iPhone accessories and a mini lint roller, haha. I'm sure I'll pick him up a few little things still, like candy. I'd like to get him a set of nice beer glasses.

Like I mentioned- we're going on an all-inclusive to Mexico in March and then a Cruise to the Bahamas in Sept so we don't do gifts.

We fill each other's stockings.. he said he wants a "coupon book" in his... and not the kind for dates... ::smacks forehead::

A bike trainer and mat so he can set up his road bike in the basement and cycle for exercise. He doesn't think he is getting it, but has basically said if I don't want to buy it for him he will just buy it after the holiday. He is tough because he never really wants much, but when he wants something he just buys it for himself. I had my mom pick it up for me at the local bike shop in Geneva so he won't get it until we get there late on Xmas day. He will be surprised for sure. I also got him new golf shoes, 2 shirts, new red and green boxer briefs, and some flip flops.

Nothing yet!! We really just get something for each from the kids. I of course make it very easy for him every year and tell him what I would like. He never gives me any ideas. My plan so far is to get him a frame for work so he can bring in some recent pics of the boys. I'm also going to get him this snack mix he likes. Aside from those two things I have no idea.

She's getting a new pot and pan set (she loves cooking) and I also registered her for a one-day DSLR class. She needs a blue winter hat so I'll put that in her stocking and LO is giving her the nutcracker that we buy each year.

We adopt a family every year instead of giving each other gifts. So that's what we did.

Plus my DH is an awful gift giver.

A few shirts, sweatshirt, sweater, a book of things to build with your kids outside, some snacks, Yankee stuff for his stocking from $5 Below. He is awful to buy for. This year he said he only wanted time for Christmas. So annoying.

Just stuff for his stocking. White t-shirts, boxer briefs, and a visor organizer thing for his car. He already got like $500 worth of new work clothes on Black Friday and he bought himself a GPS Running Watch a month ago so he is set. I'm interested to see what I'll get because now he's talking about getting a flat screen tv for our room as our "gift to each other". Um, ok? lol

I still have no clue. He hasn't given me any ideas. I've gotten him a few stocking stuffers and a guitar book he wanted.

I'll probably get him some clothes... he said he needs new jeans. I'm hoping to get inspired tomorrow while out shopping!
