Anyone dilated at 35-36 weeks?

Hey guys...I don't normally post often but I do lurk. Just wondering if anyone is 35-36 weeks and dilated any? My doctor doesn't normally start internals until 38 weeks but I asked her to check me this morning. I was having regular contractions Sunday and just wasn't feeling right. She was surprised that I was 2.5 cm and says I may not make it til Christmas. I had my first baby at 38 weeks. Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?

I was 2 cms at my friday visit, 36 weeks. The worst thing she could've told me was baby could be here before Christmas. It's made me super anxious and overly excited about having this baby soon when in actuality I could be stuck here for a few weeks! Everyday that passes with no action is disappointing me!

THIS! I was 3 cm 70% effaced at 36 weeks...2 weeks later, no baby for me yet! I am refusing any more cervical checks until 40 weeks just so I don't drive myself insane with anxiety. Every single twinge sends my heartrate up. Dilation means nada. Sorry hon--you could be that way for a while longer!

Back at my 35wk appt my dr checked me and I was already at a 2! Then at last weeks appt he said I was almost a 3, and that I could possibly have him by Christmas! Really surprised me (first timer) and made me excited! Cant believe that in just afew days/weeks Im gonna be a mommy!!

Yes, I was 2 cm, 80% effaced a week ago.

My next check up is tomorrow.I was also told, I'll likely be early.Now I wonder every day, if this is going to be the big day...

I was 1 at my 36 week appointment last week. Not effaced and the baby is not engaged at all, so it means pretty much nothing and I expect to stay pregnant for a few more weeks at least!

At the end of 35 weeks I was a finger tip dilated and soft cervix, end of 36 I was 1.5 cm dilated and 50% effaced....can't wait to see what I am in a few days!! Also a FTM, hoping for an early delivery....but not getting my hopes up!

I was 1cm at 33 weeks when I was hospitalized for some contractions. I'm still hanging in there, though and I hope to make it to 37 weeks!

i've been 3-4cm and 70% since 35 weeks, i go in today for 37 week check...have had no contractions, nothing! so you could stay this way for quite some time..

I will be getting my first internal on Thursday at 36 weeks. My doctor told me last week that he won't be letting me go to 40 weeks b/c he doesn't want the baby to get too big. Last night LOs head definitely dropped so I'm interested in seeing what the doctor says in a few days....hopefully the words "go to the hospital" do NOT come out of his mouth!

I was 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced at 36 weeks (but had no contractions). I'm almost 39 weeks and 4 cm dilated and 70% effaced, so take your progress with a grain of salt.
