Giant Gingerbread House @ St. Regis

We have not been this year, but we went last year. I called a few weeks ago and was told they were doing it again, though. St. Regis has a giant gingerbread house in its lobby. The kids can walk through it and check it out. It's a neat thing to do--and free (parking can be $$$, though). Last year, I was able to get in and out so we didn't have to pay the valet fee, only a tip. I told the valet people I just wanted to show the kids the gingerbread house, and they were really nice about it-you have a certain number of minutes (Maybe 20?) before you have to pay the big bucks. hahaha

Anyway, just thought I would mention it in case folks are into gingerbread houses and such.

  • Thanks for posting this. I think I might try and take the kids.

  • OK, I stopped in there the other day, and there also is a nice train display next to the gingerbread house. Fun! We plan to take the kids this week to see them both.
