CD mamas: anyone tried sunbaby diapers?

a woman at the babywearers meeting recommended them, saying she loved them for her little boy. anyone else have experience with them? i'm looking to buy them for my SIL as a gift.

    I've used them. I'm sort of eh about them. They're so cheap that they're nice to have as back up diapers when everything else is dirty. They have some cute prints. But they're too small for us (our 9 month old already weighs 26 pounds!) and the quality is hit and miss. We got two batches and in the second one (probably purchased 6-7 months ago) two of the diapers had messed up stitching, including the insert opening being sewed up on one of them. A few more leak right through the PUL. Personally I would probably go for something else as a gift because I wouldn't want someone thinking of me when their diaper leaked.
