Anyone taking the extra progesterone as BC?

My 6wk appt went great.  Cleared to do the deed and given a prescription for the extra progesterone (can't remember what it's actually called).  I'm holding off, probably cause I'm in denial that I'll get preggers while EBF.  Anyone taking it yet?  Just curious...

    Are you talking about the minipill (mine was called Micronor)? I took it and then got a Mirena. I was petrified of getting pg while nursing- it can happen and I can barely handle/afford 1 baby.

    I just started last week. I try and take it every night at 9 but some nights it has ended up being 10 or 10:30. I am nervous that now i am not protected. did they stress to you that it had to be at the exact same time too. they say it is more picky than normal bc pills.

    I haven't filled the prescription yet.  I'm certain I would forget to take them at the same time regularly.  I just might take my chances with BF as BC.

    Have you considered the mirena iud? No user error and I love it.
