1) What's the website to order domperidone again? I only have about 2 weeks left on my prescribed supply and it's expensive to have it compounded!
2) Why oh WHY will my right breast not express milk? It's there. I have plenty of tissue. It can be hand expressed. But pumping I get maybe a teaspoon. Seriously. I've been pumping every 2-3 hours since coming home from the hospital with a hospital-grade pump. I'm on domperidone, goat's rue, fenugreek. I put the baby to the breast as often as I can (he has some palate and tongue issues that may be inhibiting him from extracting milk). I've had LC appts. I don't know what else to do!
I had one bad pumping night this weekend and now I'm no longer ahead by one feed. At most I get one ounce out of my left side. One.
Why do I suck so badly at feeding my kid?! ![]()
Re: Two questions - pumping and meds
If your baby can't get milk out because of physical problems, it's no one's fault if you're having a rough time. You won't let him go hungry. I'm sure you're a great mom doing everything you can.
I don't have any answers to your questions, but I wanted to give you a bit of encouragement. Just keep going. Even if you have to supplement formula, being paritally breastfed is still really good for your baby.
