I have been EBF my little one for 6 months now (yay!) so now that we are starting to introduce solids, I have been blending my own purees with breastmilk. I know you cannot re-freeze thawed milk but is that still the case when it comes to making puree? For instance, I have a little stash that I've been thawing to use for puree and then freezing the puree. Thoughts? Also, once I thaw a serving of puree, how long will it be "good" in the fridge for? 24 hours?
I must confess, I never thought I'd say this but I miss EBF poo! Poo after puree is so much more poopyier (word?) *sigh*... ![]()
Re: Question and a confession
It will just have somewhat lesser nutritional value. It won't hurt anything.
Once you offer puree, you pretty much have to chuck it within 24 hours breastmilk or not. Just take out what you need, a cube at a time.
