Austin Area Babywearer's - new community site

I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this here.  Let me know if I should delete!

We're in the process of transitioning the Austin Area Babywearer's online community onto BigTent.  While we have consistently great turnout for our meetings, I'd like to have a more active online community as well so I'm hoping this change helps!

If anybody here is interested in joining send me an email at my username @gmail.com or to Austin Area Babywearers @gmail.com  (minus the spaces) and I'll get an invite sent right out.

    I have moms that I work with who are isolated (for various reasons) and need more support and mommy contacts. If they are also interested in baby wearing, can I refer them? Most of them are interested, but have never heard of baby wearing until I mention it. Sad

    Yeah, absolutely!  We have several mom's groups that come to all of our meetings so it could be a good way for them to find new friends.

    Do you have to be in Austin? I'm in Fort Hood (like an hour away) I've been dieing to meet up with other moms and babywearer's, I have a mei tai I just can't get right :/.

    Nope, come on over. Of course it's easiest to troubleshoot in person but if you can't make it to a meeting we can certainly do our best through the forums.
