    I waited until we found out the sex at 20 weeks ! We immediately went shopping for clothes which we later returned cause we received so many as gifts, ha ha!

    I'll probably wait until after the gender is determined.  Although my MIL just gave me a super cute set of onsies--she couldn't resist!

    My mom bought several items the weekend after she found out we were pregnant.

    We didn't buy anything until we found out the sex around 17 wks.

    Crib bedding, which was purchased approximately one year before DH even proposed! It hid in my parents garage until we needed it!

    After that, I don't remember for sure... I tried to hold off, but I think we bought him a Giants t-shirt at BRU when we went to register at about 16 weeks.

    Because our house was on the market at the time, we didn't buy much. We bought a few things after we found out the gender- bedding. Otherwise, we did a lot of last minute buying after our house sold and we moved.

    For me personally it was because our journey to pg seemed to take forever so I couldn't wait to go into BRU and feel "normal" and walk in there and buy something. I think I bought something like a skip hop changing pad or something .

    I think I was about 24 weeks when I bought my first baby item.  It was a one piece from Gap that I hope we'll use to bring him home from the hospital.

    i was 13 weeks - but I was in New Jersey and they sell little Eli Manning Jersey onsies. I couldn't not buy it, since I can't get it out here.  My kid will NOT be rooting for the Niners! That's the only purchase we've made.
