oh DH.. vent.. long...

even if no one responds i just want to vent, lol! so we picked out an airplane theme at target.com. it doesnt have a ton of accessories but it is just such a cute theme, we can put together matching accessories on our own. so DH's mom and sis found another airplane theme at baby depot w/ more accessories. i checked it out and it has a lot more colors, blues, reds, greens, everything- too many for me!! plus it had reds and greens in a plaid pattern on some stuff and i really dont like plaid!! but i showed it to DH and he was like 'eh its okay, i like the other better'. GOOD! me too. but then his sis had also posted links to this on his FB wall and i dont know if he just felt bad saying ' no we dont like' or what but he responded to her post that he 'sure liked some of those' and he'd sit down with me and look again. WHAT?! i already told his mom and sis that we didnt like them as much and his mom already ordered the bedding set from target!! and i DID tell him this, and he still posted that?! now i look like the wife that lied and said both HE and i liked the target theme better, now theyre probably wondering if i even showed it to him!! really?!

    Oh that sucks... I'd be super annoyed.  I'm picky about stuff like that and would HATE to have something in the room that I didn't like.

    aw thanks, i feel better that im not the only one!! its a super cute theme i just dont really like plaid at all :(

    He probably care a lot less about it than you do which is why he placated his sister/his mom. If you really care that much just tell him to go back and tell them that you wanted something different.  If his mom already purchased the set just make sure she has a reciept.  Shouldn't really be an issue.  My husband does this too he doesn't realize how important something is to me and then when he acts all "sure that's fine" about it sometimes it pisses me off.  I have to let him know pretty specifically "we aren't doing that, we're agreed right?" and if he still does what your husband did I make him fix it.  That simple.

    thanks for the advice- i talked to him when he woke up and he said he'd clarify/ make sure his mom knew that i did actually show him the other set but we really just didnt like it quite as much. sooo all fixed :) but he can be frustrating....
